My Life History
I was born on 3rd January 1982 in Piwari, a small village in Uttar Pradesh. My family was very poor. I had two elder brothers. When I was six months old, my father got a job in a Central Government School in South India. We lived there for four and a half years. After coming back to Uttar Pradesh, I joined in the same school, where my father was a teacher. Now our family was in a better condition. My grandfather was a daily wage earner who worked hard to maintain his family. He ate only twice a day, so that his children can have three meals a day. My grandparents are no more today.
My father never had confidence in me. He thought that I was not a good student. When I passed my 10th class exam with 53%, my father was shocked. He was crying because of happiness. I was a science student in 11th and 12th. My father insisted me to drop a year because he again thought that I could not clear 12th class. But, I was very happy because of two persons in my life- my mother and my sister Shoba. (She has done her Phd in English and now, working as Assistant Professor in Delhi University.) Both of them were very supportive and they believed that, one day my father will be proud of me. I cleared my
10th class in 1997 and I was in 12th in 1999. But because of my father’s decision I dropped that year and gave the exam on the next year in 2000. But unfortuntely, I failed. My father thought that I will not be able to continue my studies. He wanted me to open a shop where he too can join me after his retirement. But I wanted to continue my studies. This time, my father and my family thought that I cannot study in English medium. So, they took me to a Hindi medium school. I again gave the 12th exam in 2001. I failed again. This time also they changed my school. Again I gave the exam in 2002. But, again I failed. My father asked me to repeat it again. I told him that my exams were good and I would like to give it for re-evaluation. But, he did not give me the money. My friend Tarun gave me 500 rupees. I failed in Physics and Chemistry. So, I paid the fees for two subjects. After the re-evaluation, I got 31 marks more on my marksheet and finally I passed my 12th class. The same day, I told my father that I want to study Foreign Language. In those four years I had proved myself many times that I was not a bad student. In those four years I cleared medical Exam, Biotech, J.N.U (Best University of India) language exam twice, first time in Russian language in 2001 and then in German in 2002.
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is a prestigious institution in the country. Lakhs of students dream of being in JNU. But only a very few lucky make it. Altough I cleared the entrance for German language in 2002, I could not join in JNU then, because my leg got fractured. I decided to join the next year and got my admission extended. In the meantime, I joined in Max Mueller Bhawan New Delhi (German Cultural Center) for German Language. I completed one and a half year course in just five and a half month. It means G1, G2 and G3 as an intensive course.
I joined in JNU in 2003 for a three year graduation course. My German was good and I always got A+ in German language. During my second year of graduation I wrote a play “Wer ist die schoeste in ganzen Land”. I was the topper in my class. But my teacher was not happy with me because I was from an untouchable caste and she was from a warrior caste. She gave me grades from “A+ to C+” some time even “C only”. I spoke with her personally, but in vain. I filed a case against her for caste harassment. Although I did not get any fair justice for my grievance, I am happy, because I have protest against the injustice. I completed my B.A. (Hons.) in German in 2006. I want to work as a German Professor in the University. Along with academic problems I also faced several issues in love related aspects which in due course of time made me more stronger and determined.
I was a Hindu, but I embraced Buddhism 30. 01. 2008. Now I am on the path of Buddha. Life is dynamic and it always changes. My life slogan is “MAY ALL BEING BE HAPPY”. As the target of my life I am trying to open a College for the poor and untouchables in India. I hope that the resource mobilisation of this project will start from 12.05.2016 and college may start functioning from 03.01.2019. Students will learn agriculture and foreign language courses in graduation, post graduation till Ph.D. Now this is my only dream. All endeavors of my life is to make this dream come true. Now I am working as Government Approved German Speaking Tour Guide form 2005.
I am very thankful to some of my friends and my family members, those who have helped me out in my good and bad time; they always give me potential to work harder. Without their help it was not easy to complete my website. I would like to pay my regards to my late grandparents, parents, brothers, sister in laws and in my friend circle Tarun, Nagarjuna, Mai Ram, Shradhavajri, Gopali, Nisha, Ram Kishor, Kulwinder, Himanshu, Bipasha, Pargat, Alok, Jitendra, Anil, Katja Trapp, Erika Winkler, Heike Osmelak, Elmar Renner, Ulrika.
